Reviews. The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly.

It's been a little while since we've put anything up here, so why not catch up on some reviews/input of our album Siam?

Also there are a few posts tagging us on Tumblr here.

On a separate note, we have been writing new material and have two new songs just about finished. They don't have names or full lyrics, but rest assured they are coming along very nicely. We are also planning a weekend excursion out of town which will be announced once more details are available.

Siam Release Show - Words & Pictures

The album release show went very well and we had a great time. Total Blam Blams, Ghost Heart and Bars Of Gold played excellent sets and attendance was great with plenty of enthusiasm. We would like to thank everyone who made it out to possibly our best show we've played yet. Below are some fantastic images taken by Trevor Ditmar as well as Shortstack Media. All images are copyright 2011 Trevor Ditmar and Shortstack Media respectively.

This entire album and show would not have been possible if it weren't for the following individuals:

Chris Colby
Peter Fox
Friction Records (and our Friction brothers and sisters)
Halfway House Music
Joel Hatstat
Benjamin Hunter
Rick Johnson
Derek Lancioni
Nicole LaRae
Joel Potrykus
Steven Putt
The entire Pyramid Scheme Staff
Jeff Vandenberg
Tami Vandenberg
Chris Ziebarth
The great musicians we shared the stage with:
Total Blam Blams
Ghost Heart
Bars Of Gold

Everyone who was able to make it out to the show and who helped spread the word. Also, you can get the album on itunes HERE or on the Friction Records site to order a physical copy.

Cheers!

Halfway House Sessions Are Up!

The songs we played at The Stone House were just made available online. The Stone House Facebook page is here and their main website is coming soon here. Peter Fox took care of audio duties and Chris Ziebarth manned the cameras and video production. These guys do amazing work with groups that come in for sessions and we couldn't have been happier with our time there. You can go to their site at www.halfwayhousemusic.com to download audio of the tracks as well. While you're there, check out all of the other sessions and cool stuff on the site.

Halfway House Recording Sessions

Yesterday HTAFM visited the Stone House to record audio and video of live song performances for Halfway House. The session went extremely well and we had a great time. Peter(Audio Engineer) and Chris(Videographer) are great and accommodating hosts which made everything go incredibly smooth. We arrived to load in at 11:00am and were pulling out of the parking lot at 1:20pm. Peter had us come into the control room to give a listen to the audio before we left and it already sounded phenomenal. Due to the short length of the songs, we did a fourth as opposed to the standard three song session. We are still determining whether all four will be put up or just the main three. The set list is as follows:

-Folio Verso
-Malleable (In so Far)
-Unmanageable Infrastructure (or The Interstellar Nanobacterium Parasitic Infestation)

The videos should be available a couple weeks prior to our album release on September 17th, so keep an eye on the Halfway House site. There is also a link to their site in the column on the right side of our page. I managed to snap a few pictures during setup and tear down as well, so here they are:
